Moorings

At EMBS we provide moorings for some 65 vessels, each with individual landing stages with electricity and water supply nearby, some moorings being ‘off-line’. Willow moorings is a pleasant riverside rural mooring with gentle grassland areas, dedicated area adjacent to the moorings where boat owners and guests can use for recreational purposes, eg. bbq.  The entire site is as secure as poss, with good lighting dusk to dawn. In addition to the two partners who live on site, there are currently four long-stay moorers with most moorers being having been tenants for a considerable period leading to a true sense of community. Pub – with the otter public house next door providing all normal eating house facilities

10% discount for payment by due date.

Moorings are charged quarterly (13 weeks) in advance.    On taking up a mooring the charge will be pro rata for the remaining period of the qtr. up to the standard qtr. date. Qtr. dates are 24th March, 24th June, 24th September & 24th December.

Minimum of 30 days notice is required to relinquish a mooring. No refund will be given for an un expired quarter or part thereof.
These charges apply to normal private pleasure use only. NO permanent residential moorings are available.
Long-term stay moorings, on three monthly contracts, i.e. over winter or during stoppages .A limited number of these moorings are available, which when approved will be charged at the above rates, plus an amenity charge of £155 per qtr For this charge an individual prepayment electricity meter will be provided & refuse disposal for "household" waste will be provided.
